MTN Nigeria is now giving out free 10GB data to it's customers who upgrades their 3G sim to 4G. Back then MTN was giving free 4GB data to users who upgrades their sim to 4G. But now, they have increased it to a whopping 10GB data.

Upgrading from 3G to 4G means better Internet speed as MTN 4G network is now available in most locations nationwide, and  MTN is urging every customers who have not upgraded their sim, to do so now.

HOW DO YOU UPGRADE YOUR MTN SIM TO 4G ?

Upgrading of your MTN sim is free. All you have to do is visit a nearest MTN office with your old MTN 3G sim, the sim pack and a valid ID card. But if you don't have the sim pack, then you need a sworn High Court affidavit as a proof of ownership.

If the upgrade is successfully done, you have to sms 4G to 131 and you’ll receive the free 10GB data.

Note that the 10GB data can only be used on 4G mode. But the 100% data bonus can be used on any network mode, be it 2G, 3G, or 4G.
